Ordinance No. 17-001 - Amending the Land Management Code, Chapter 7 for R-2 and R-3 zones as it pertains to heavy equipment.  

Recently Adopted Ordinances


As per state law, all ordinances are adopted by the Town Council in an open meeting.  As part of an open discussion, all ordinances are presented to the Council in their draft form to receive input from the Council and public before they are adopted officially in ordinance format.  Some ordinances require a public hearing be held prior to the adoption of the ordinance.  

Ordinances which pertain to the regulation of the public are identified in the Brian Head Town Code as law for the local municipality.   Not all ordinances are in the Town Code, such as personnel polices, meeting schedules, etc.  For a copy of any of the ordinances, contact the Town Clerk/Recorder and request a copy.  All ordinances are classified as public records.  

Listed below are the past five ordinances that have been recently adopted by the Brian Head Town Council:

  • Ordinance No. 17-002 - An ordinance adopting the final budget for fiscal year 2018.  

  • Ordinance No. 17-003 - An ordinance amending the fiscal year budget 2017 as required by state law.  
  • Ordinance No. 17-004 - An ordinance amending the Brian Head Town Code, Title 9, Land Management Code, Chapter 2 (Definitions), Chapter 4 (Submittal Requirements), Chapter 7 (Zone District Regulations), Chapter 10 (Other Permits) and Chapter 12 (Design Standards for Construction and Developments). 
  • Ordinance No. 17-005 - An Ordinance Amending the Brian Head Town Code, Title 3, Business License Regulations, Chapter 2A, Licensing in General.
